It’s funny, isn’t it, what draws me into debate and discussion. Today’s Polka Dot Hot Spot is all about guest transport!
When it comes to weddings, there are often a lot of guests flying in. Not only that but ceremony and reception locations are often a fair way away from each other. So my hot spot is this – how far are you gong to assist your guests with transport? Are you organising a jet (okay, in our dreams perhaps!) a bus? Or are you letting guests find their own way. I suppose another way of putting it is, to what end are you making sure every problem your guests face is solved, to what level are you hosting them?
We are having ceremony and reception at the same venue, however as it is in the hinterland we have organised transport (buses) to pick up and drop off our guests from their accommodation. We wanted to ensure everyone would be able to have a good time and not worry about driving home/to accommodation.
